In this new ‘Behind The Scenes’ post, we have 0zon, a photographer who has spent a couple of years immortalizing part of the graffiti scene on trains in Belgium, with images of environment, pieces and action. Feel free to visit his instagram account to see great quality captures. The selected photo is a beautiful action photo on an Italian train.
Behind The Scenes is a section dedicated to photographers related to graffiti and trainwriting. Each photographer will tell us what is behind a photograph, which at first glance may not be able to be intuited, their feelings at the time of taking the photo, the effort or a related anecdote.

Can a photo be a love letter ?
Young men sometimes are writing poems, songs or letters aimed at their loved ones. They write about feelings, travels, heroic journeys, losses, joy, hopes… I experienced all of them, I still have the mind of a teenager but I’m not good with words. Can a photo be a love letter ?
This one is me declaring it to the culture but more precisely to all before me, the elders. My homage and interpretation of a classic photo and usual situation : the writer trying to reach higher and the photographer immortalizing the moment. I believe that you have to know and respect the past to be part of the present.
In addition to the symbolism, this is of course an ode to the people I photograph.
I’ve met people who smile in the face of danger or difficulties, who refuse to follow any rules except their own and friendship, who go beyond what is logical and make it look effortless… Their determination and freedom are a source of inspiration ; I learn from them, every one of them is a life lesson.
I admire their motivation, and it nourishes my will to celebrate them and to improve and grow in my own passion. I am lucky to consider some close friends. I think all that shows in my photos.
Can a photo be a love letter ?
I hope so !
