We launch a new section dedicated to photographers related to graffiti and trainwriting. Each photographer will tell us what is behind a photograph, which at first glance may not be able to be intuited, their feelings at the time of taking the photo, the effort or a related anecdote.

It seems like a quiet shot. Among the vegetation are the writers crouched next to a car of the Eusko Tren company. At that moment, the checker warned us that the security guard was making strange movements and that he was coming towards us. The writers, half done, decided to stop, wait and watch the jury. That moment seemed perfect to me to freeze the scene. A scene that can create confusion. Tranquility or tension? I can say that just at that moment a minimum of tension was breathed. And although they finished the pieces with great care, the worst came later.

“Gora Gu Ta Gutarrak” is the name of the project. A project that fascinates me on a personal level. Because Basque Country is unique. If all goes well, the departure date will be in 2021.

Gora Gu Ta Gutarrak! (Long live us and ours!)
