NEW OLD STOCK is a non-profit project that sees itself as a homage to the graffiti culture of the 90s in Cologne, Stuttgart & Dortmund. In the form of a print magazine & video film, the documentary focus is on various actors of the present, who in their work devote themselves to a past aesthetic. From a tangle of fictional & real names & crews, a scene was created that never existed like this, captured on more than 900 photos + 1400 minutes of videotape. Recorded purely analogue and with old technology, it is finally difficult for the viewer to distinguish new from old. NEW OLD STOCK combines the heyday of graffiti culture with the present and is intended to create a new enthusiasm and perspective on the special aesthetics of the 90s. In addition to the magazine release and the video premiere is on August 5th, 2023 in the DEDICATED STORE COLOGNE, an exhibition will make the project live. Admission is free!
