Seri o no seri brings us the photobook “Revisiting Tsunami Royals”, which adapts the Tsunami Royals video, published at the end of 2010, to paper format. You can find it now available at SERIONOSERI.com
The book, without any text, conveys the essence of what making this video meant to the editor and camera operator who helped the Royals Crew get the project off the ground. For approximately a year, the audiovisual technician accompanied the members of the crew wherever they went. Although most of the recordings were made in Valencia, cities such as Bucharest or Milan were also visited, camera in hand.
Through the frames – which evoke the long hours of editing that the making of the video entailed – and the photographs from the archive of the group, Enrique Escandell and M.P., whoever has it in their hands will have access to part of the story of the most important Spanish graffiti from the end of the first decade of the 21st century.
